Peak Staycations welcomes you to our collection of luxury self-catering apartments at Rock Mill where great attention has been given to the design of these luxury apartments in the heart of the Peak District National Park. To ensure a comfortable, modern, luxurious stay in elegant surroundings, each apartment contains a fully fitted kitchen with attractive bathroom suite, stylish décor, and free Wi-Fi.
Situated in the heart of the National Park, Rock Mill is located on the outskirts of Stoney Middleton, a quaint village with restaurants and a historic local pub. This quiet village belies a history of murder in the village pub, a Lovers Leap where in 1762 a jilted lover jumped from the cliffs but survived, and the locals, who left food out for those self-quarantined in nearby Eyam during the Great Plague in the 17th Century.
The Peak District National Park is an area of England at the southern end of the Pennines mostly in Derbyshire but extends into neighbouring counties and includes the Dark Peak, an area of moorland dominated by gritstone and the White Peak, a limestone area with valleys and gorges. The area is packed with places to visit and things to do, walkers, sailors, canoeists, cyclists, climbers, and artists are all drawn to this area for its diverse range of activities, annual events and natural beauty. With numerous historic towns and attractions to visit, Rock Mill will give you a favourable base to return to and relax in after a day out. When returning to Rock Mill after your days activity you will have the benefit of a wash down area for muddy boots, cycles and a wash and dry area for your dogs. You will also find a secure area for your cycles and heated lockers to dry off your clothes and footwear.
