Welcome to The Staffordshire Knot, a newly renovated gem that once served as a beloved local pub and has now been transformed into an exquisite holiday let. Nestled in the charming village of Sheen in Buxton, this property seamlessly blends its rich history with modern luxury, offering you a unique and unforgettable getaway.
The Staffordshire Knot boasts four beautifully appointed bedrooms, each designed with comfort and flexibility in mind, making it perfect for families, groups of friends, or couples seeking a peaceful retreat.
Room 1: Chatsworth
Located on the ground floor, Chatsworth is a versatile twin room featuring an en-suite bathroom. The beds are zip-and-link, allowing them to be converted into a luxurious super king-size bed upon request. This room ensures easy access and convenience for guests preferring ground-floor accommodation.
Also on the ground floor, you’ll find a convenient WC and a utility space equipped with a washer, iron, and clothes airer, ensuring you have all the comforts of home during your stay.
Living and Dining
Ascending the stairs, you will discover the heart of The Staffordshire Knot: a spacious living room designed for relaxation and socialising. The room features a plush L-shaped sofa, a comfortable three-seater sofa, and an extendable dining table perfect for shared meals or game nights. Entertainment options abound with a 50-inch TV, a collection of jigsaw puzzles, and a variety of books to suit all tastes.
Kitchen
The kitchen, situated at the top of the lounge, is a chef’s dream. It is fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, full-height fridge freezer, and an additional fridge for your convenience. A microwave, kettle, toaster, and a coffee machine compatible with Philips L’or or original Nespresso pods are also provided. To make your stay even more enjoyable, we offer a welcome supply of coffee, tea, sugar, and coffee pods.
For added convenience, cutlery is neatly stored in internal drawers located under the counter with the kettles.
Upper Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Down the corridor behind the seating area are three more exquisite bedrooms:
Room 2: Stanmore
This twin room, which can also be converted into a super king-size bed, is perfect for guests who prefer flexibility in their sleeping arrangements.
Opposite Stanmore, you’ll find the main bathroom, which features a refreshing shower and a luxurious freestanding bath, providing a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the peaks.
Adjacent to the bathroom is a store cupboard stocked with a Henry hoover, sweeping brush, spare bulbs, and other essentials.
Room 3: Buxton
At the end of the corridor on the right, Buxton offers a super king-size bed with an en-suite bathroom. Like the other rooms, the bed can be adjusted to twin configuration. In the near future, this room will also feature a day bed, allowing for additional sleeping space for up to two more guests.
Room 4: Monsal
Located at the end of the corridor on the left, Monsal is another super king-size room with an en-suite, capable of being configured as a twin room. This room will also soon include a day bed for extra accommodation.
All bedrooms are thoughtfully furnished with drawers, bedside tables, and hanging shelves, ensuring ample storage for your belongings. We also provide complimentary hand wash and 2-in-1 shampoo/body wash for your convenience.

Heating throughout The Staffordshire Knot is controlled by a Nest thermostat located on the lamp shelf in the lounge, ensuring you can easily maintain a comfortable temperature during your stay.
