Perfectly blending comfort with charm, this delightful orignal Millworker’s cottage offers an ideal retreat for up to four guests across its three inviting floors.
Upon entering, you’ll find a lovely sitting room, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. Adjacent to the sitting room is a separate dining area where you can enjoy meals together, creating lasting memories. The well-equipped kitchen features modern amenities, including a dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster kettle, pots, and cutlery, ensuring you have everything you need for a convenient and enjoyable stay.
Ascend to the first floor to discover a beautifully appointed double bedroom, offering a peaceful haven for rest and relaxation. Also on this floor is a stunning, cosy bathroom, providing a luxurious space to unwind and refresh. The second floor is home to the primary bedroom, a serene retreat with ample space and comfort. This room is designed to ensure a restful night’s sleep, making it the perfect end to a day of adventures.
Step outside to the contained garden and patio area at the back of the property. There is also a spacious utility area before heading back inside, ensuring your cottage remains clean and comfortable.
Elsie’s Escape is thoughtfully equipped for families, offering travel cot and high chair on request for younger guests. This attention to detail ensures that even the littlest members of your group feel at home.

- Living space is spread over 3 floors with the ground floor comprising of the living room, kitchen, dining room, utility room and downstairs loo. There is a double bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and the main bedroom with a king sized bed is on the 2nd floor.
- Luxurious bathroom with roll-top bath, large walk-in rain shower and Bluetooth speakers.
- Kitchen features amenities such as fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, electric oven and hob, toaster, kettle, Tassimo coffee machine and plentiful selection of kitchen equipment, utensils and matching crockery and cutlery.
- Utility room with washing machine, sink, plenty of hanging space for coats and storage for shoes.
- Smart TV, Blu-ray player with a selection of DVDs, Bluetooth speaker and complementary wi-fi.
- Gas central heating throughout with a log burner coming soon!
- Enclosed garden with picnic bench, BBQ, parasol and lockable bike storage.
- Travel cot, high chair and changing mat provided on request.
- Bed linen and towels are provided but please bring your own cot sheets (mattress is 114 x 57cm)
- Stairs are steep and narrow. Ceiling and doorframes are quite low – taller guests please take care.
